Scope
This policy applies to hosting, DNS, personal VPN and related Tech-Bytes services.
Prohibited activity
Do not use the services for illegal activity, fraud, phishing, harassment, unauthorised access, malware distribution, spam, open relays, credential theft, intellectual property infringement or harm to other users and networks.
VPN and DNS filtering
Do not use VPN or DNS-filtering services to evade lawful restrictions or law enforcement, bypass controls without authorisation, distribute malicious software or interfere with third-party systems.
Network security and resource use
Keep credentials secure and software updated, use MFA where practical, and report suspected compromise. Do not carry out unapproved scanning, distributed attacks or resource-heavy activity that degrades shared services.
Abuse reports and action
Report abuse to hdaryl@hotmail.co.uk. Tech-Bytes may investigate, restrict access, remove content, notify appropriate providers or authorities, or terminate services where needed to protect users and meet legal obligations.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated to respond to technical, legal or provider changes.
